Eiji Ogawa and Junko Shimizu
AMU and AMU Deviation Indicators are calculated by Eiji Ogawa and Junko Shimizu in a joint project of Hitotsubashi University's Global COE Hi-Stat Program and the Research Institute of Economy, Trade and Industry (RIETI) and published on the website. These indicators are intended to contribute to the coordination of exchange rate policies in East Asia and to raising monetary authorities' surveillance capabilities. Nominal AMU Deviation Indicators are provided on a daily basis and Real AMU Deviation Indicators, which are adjusted for differences in inflation, are provided on a monthly basis.
